Job Description: Director of AATF Social Media
1) The Director of AATF Social Media will be knowledgeable in both French pedagogy and technological resources to coordinate a social media presence that reinforces the AATF brand and status as the premier organization for French teachers.
2) The Director will work with the association President, Executive Director, and others to develop a strategy for social media postings and ensure that they and any other individuals assigned to post follow through in a timely manner.
3) The Director will commit to devoting the appropriate amount of time throughout the term of appointment to the duties of the position, as agreed upon with the AATF Executive Director and President.
4) The Director will work with AATF chapters to ensure that all AATF social media platforms and websites have a uniform AATF visual identity.
5) The Director will serve as a resource person for chapters and commissions who need help working with social media.
6) The Director will share administrator access to the AATF social media accounts with the national headquarters.
7) The Director will submit a report to the President for dissemination to the Executive Council at their regularly scheduled meetings.
8) The Director will attend the annual convention. The AATF will cover the Director’s hotel costs for the nights of the convention and standard travel costs.
9) The Director will be compensated with an honorarium of $2,500 per year and will be appointed for a three-year term. The President will conduct a review of the work of the Director in the middle of the last year of the Director’s three-year term and will make a recommendation to the Executive Council for or against a three-year renewal.
